Managed to read another four project docs today. Brain has pro/regressed from cabbage to jelly. Everyone is on holiday so getting clarifications is impossible. By the time they're back, I'll be on holidays with mountains and wellness facilities (or whatever that is in proper english) so there is all the fun of being behind before even starting. Heh.

Slept for 10 hours last night. Still tired. Bleh. My eyes are no longer swollen though. Sorry Trev, no eyewurms. Some of the tired is probably due to digesting giant lunch kebab. Nyom.

When my wee is coming out a lurid shade of yellow. Clearly I need to learn what my body's saying to me. Or just to drink water relatively frequently.

It's not just the kidneys that need water, it helps digestive passage, too. And drinking surplus water is only moderately wasteful.

was the comments at the bottom of that story were mostly "I did a detox and it was wonderful". I despair of people - especially people who would take medical advice from Carol Vorderman.

Surely if we've learned anything from the Karadzic affair it's that alternative therapists are genocidal liars.

Heh, I remember a conversation I had with a Serbian friend in Montenegro last year where he was talking about the Serbo-Croat Dr Johnson, and had forgotten his name. I prompted him with "Karadzic", and he pooh-poohed me, saying how they weren't all war criminals, before remembering that I was correct, and the first codifier of the Serbo-Croat language was indeed called Karadzic.
